Code Information

On Ford Powerstroke diesels the Injector Driver Module (IDM) fires the injectors and sends a Cylinder Identification (CID) signal back to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) to keep injection synchronised with the correct cylinders. DTC P1219 is set when the PCM detects the CID signal is stuck low or reads lower than expected, meaning it is not toggling as it should while the engine turns.
