When P1211 is stored, the module has detected a signal or supply voltage lower than the expected operating range; and a signal or supply voltage higher than the expected operating range.

Code Information

The mass air flow sensor measures the actual mass of air entering the engine and reports it to the Engine Control Module (ECM) either as an analogue voltage that rises with flow or as a frequency signal, and the ECM uses that value as the primary input for calculating injector pulse width and spark timing.
