Code Information

The throttle position sensor is a three wire potentiometer that produces a variable voltage proportional to throttle opening, fed to the Engine Control Module and used by the transmission for shift timing, line pressure, and torque management. It is supplied a five volt reference and a ground, and returns a signal that rises from a low voltage at closed throttle to near reference voltage at wide open throttle.
