When P1895 is stored, the module has detected an electrical-circuit fault in the wiring, connector, or driver associated with the named component.

Code Information

On these GM systems the Engine Control Module continuously calculates the engine torque being delivered and transmits that value to the Transmission Control Module over the serial data bus, typically CAN. The TCM uses the delivered torque value to set line pressure, schedule shifts, and control torque converter clutch apply so that clutches hold without harshness.
