Code Information

The Engine Control Module (ECM) performs a throttle adaptation routine to learn the fully closed lower stop position of the throttle valve. DTC P1565 is set when, during this adaptation or during normal operation, the ECM commands the throttle valve toward the closed position but the throttle position sensor feedback indicates the lower mechanical stop is not reached within the specified tolerance or time.
