Code Information

DTC P1913 sets when the engine control module (ECM) or the brake control module detects that the brake servo pressure sensor circuit is shorted to ground. This sensor reports the vacuum or pressure in the brake booster so the system knows how much braking assistance is available and can command the vacuum pump or brake assist accordingly.
