Code Information

The variable valve timing system on this Lexus uses a camshaft position sensor on the left cylinder bank to report camshaft position to the Engine Control Module (ECM) for VVT control and ignition reference. DTC P1345 sets when the ECM detects a fault in the left side variable valve timing sensor circuit, such as a missing, intermittent, or out of range signal, or a loss of correlation with the crankshaft position signal.
