Code Information

On Ford vehicles with dual zone climate control, the Front Controls Interface Module (FCIM), also known as the HVAC control module, commands the right side temperature blend door actuator to position the blend door between the heater core and the evaporator so that the target discharge temperature for the right (passenger) zone is achieved. The motor reports its position back to the FCIM via an internal feedback potentiometer.
