Code Information

The Front Controls Interface Module (FCIM) commands the left side temperature blend door actuator to reposition the blend door when the occupant changes cabin temperature settings. DTC B1083 is set when the FCIM commands the actuator to move but detects the feedback voltage from the internal position sensor falls outside its calibrated plausibility window, indicating an electrical circuit fault such as an open circuit, a short to ground, or a short to battery, with ignition on and system voltage within the normal 9V to 16V window.
