Code Information

The ABS and stability control module, the Transmission Control Module, or another drivetrain controller receives the engine torque signal that the Powertrain Control Module broadcasts over the CAN network, and uses it for functions such as stability control, traction control, and shift scheduling. DTC U1424 sets when the receiving module determines that the engine torque value from the PCM is implausible or inconsistent with other data for a calibrated period.
