Ongoing problem with auto going into limp mode and gear shifting problems.
Older gentleman only drives it locally. 5,000kms a year if that.

This problem has been ongoing and extremely intermittent for a few years.
on one occasion it was noted that the inhibitor switch had a bad slide contact, this was fixed and no more problems for about a year.
Next time was 10 months later when a code 40 did come up for the pressure regulator. It was cleared and the battery was found to be weak and so it was replaced. no more problems for almost 2 months and then code 40 again. This time the transmission specialist checked it and replaced the pressure control solenoid and serviced the box.
No more problems for about 30 months, again no codes so Inhibitor switch was replaced with a new part.
