Engine would not turn off with key and daytime running lamps were staying on.

Problem Summary

Checked that engine continued to run when key removed.

At the same time noticed various warning lamps, back lights and day running lamps were remaining on with key removed.
Engine had to be stalled to turn off.

Fault was eventually traced to internal fault in the rear area cargo lamp, due to water damage.
