Initially the owner could not leave the vehicle with us. We advised him that he could try and verify that he has a battery drain issue by disconnecting it when he goes overseas.

He did this, and returned after six weeks to find the vehicle starting without a problem. He used it every couple of days, but after a week it went flat again.
