Upon arrival, the owner complained the vehicle was "drained of power" when driving with the headlights on. It has had a new alternator and battery fitted by a previous repairer. As soon as they picked it up the fault remained, so they booked it in with us.

The vehicle was road tested with the headlights on to verify the fault. It was as if you had rested your foot on the brake and the engine management system reduced power output. It was also noticed when braking that the parking lights & dash lights would illuminate - this was not noticed by the owner.
