Customer Complaint

Vehicle intermittently goes into limp mode with a noticeable lack of power, particularly after extended driving in heavy city traffic.

Problem Summary

Customer reported that after approximately half an hour of driving in heavy traffic, the vehicle could lose power and enter limp mode. Occasionally, cycling the ignition off and back on would temporarily restore performance.

Previous workshop records indicated historic codes for low fuel pressure (P0087) and a volume control valve fault. Autologic scan retrieved a current P117D-00 (fuel volume regulator control exceeded maximum control limit) along with multiple network communication DTCs. No faults reappeared after a road test.
