The vehicle experienced a lack of power after being driven for a short period.

Originally the vehicle suffered from general lack of power and loss of acceleration after a short drive. Later, it was found that when held at 4000–4200 rpm in the workshop for about a minute, the engine rpm would drop almost to idle, then recover to ~3000 rpm, and continue to cycle until the throttle was released. On the road, similar symptoms were noted after about 20 km of highway driving, with the engine struggling to provide acceleration power.
