The customer reported that the vehicle would not start, the gear lever was stuck in Park, and the gear selector display on the dash (PRNDS) was flashing.

After an engine replacement, the vehicle initially started and drove normally. However, shortly afterwards it developed a fault where the gear lever would not move, the green foot symbol on the dash remained illuminated while pressing the brake pedal, and the PRNDS indicator continued flashing. The vehicle would not crank or start.
