Limp home mode with dash warnings.

Vehicle presented with “Engine failure hazard” and “Check anti-pollution system” warnings and multiple emissions and sensor circuit related DTCs. Inspection found an oxygen sensor had backed out of the exhaust, causing exhaust heat damage to the engine top cover area and melting the wiring loom between the engine and the noise dampener. The sensor was refitted and the damaged wiring repaired. Vehicle then drove normally, but anti-pollution and engine light warnings remained despite no DTCs present. After multiple drive cycles, the warnings cleared and normal operation was restored.
