When stopped at a red light, the customer attempted to drive off when the lights turned green. The engine revved but the vehicle would not move. The engine then cut out and would not restart or crank over.

Confirmed the vehicle had a no-crank condition after the initial loss of drive. Faults were stored in the transmission control system, indicating an issue with the transmission mechatronic assembly and associated selector communication.
