The customer reported that the vehicle would not start, and that the fault was intermittent.

The vehicle was presented as an intermittent non start. At times it would crank without firing and would attempt to fire just as the key was released, and at other times it would start and run but then refuse to restart once switched off. On one occasion it ran for around seven minutes before misfiring and cutting out. The starter motor had been replaced four months earlier.
