The engine light remained on after an injector replacement, and cylinder 3 would not accept its injector correction code.

The vehicle originally came in with a leaking cylinder 1 injector seal. Seals were replaced on all six injectors. Injector 3 was dropped while out of the engine and damaged, so a second-hand injector was fitted. The engine still ran and drove well, but cylinder 3 would not accept the replacement injector code.
