The ABS, ESP and traction-control warning lights came on while driving.

The ABS unit had already been sent away for repair, but the warning lights and pump-motor code returned after refitting. A second inspection by the first repairer did not resolve it. A grinding noise at the right front and difficulty shifting out of 4H were also reported after the earlier repair attempts.

The vehicle had larger 245/75R16 tyres, a suspension lift and a throttle controller.
