Code Information

The Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) module controls hydraulic solenoid valves inside the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) to modulate brake pressure at each wheel. Each wheel circuit uses an inlet (isolation) valve and an outlet (dump) valve, with the inlet valve isolating and holding brake pressure during an ABS event so the outlet valve can release it in a controlled manner.
