Code Information

The ABS hydraulic control unit (HCU) contains inlet and outlet solenoid valves for each controlled wheel circuit. The right front (RF) outlet valve releases pressure from the right front brake circuit back toward the accumulator when the module detects impending wheel lock during an ABS event. DTC C1211 is set when the ABS module detects an open circuit in the right front outlet valve coil or its control wiring, meaning the solenoid is not drawing the expected current when the driver stage energizes it.
