Code Information

The Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) module continuously compares the four wheel speed sensor signals against each other to detect wheel lockup, traction loss, and rotational anomalies. DTC C1222 sets when the module detects that one or more wheel speed sensor readings disagree with the other wheels by more than the expected tolerance under conditions where all wheels should be rotating at similar speeds, such as during straight line driving above a calibrated threshold.
