Code Information

The Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) module supplies power to the hydraulic control unit isolation and dump valve solenoids through a dedicated solenoid power relay. DTC C1274 is set when the ABS module detects a failure of the number one solenoid relay circuit, typically an open coil drive, a feedback that does not match the commanded state, or a loss of switched voltage to the valve assembly. With the solenoid relay disabled the hydraulic valves cannot operate, so ABS, traction, and stability control are inhibited and the corresponding warning lamps illuminate.
