Code Information

The Body Control Module (BCM) or Driver Door Module (DDM) monitors the master power window switch circuit, which controls operation of all four window motors from the driver's door panel. DTC B1547 is set when the control module detects a general failure or malfunction in the master power window switch circuit that does not meet the criteria for a more specific fault such as a short to ground, short to battery, or open circuit.
