Code Information

The Restraints Control Module (RCM) continuously self tests its own internal diagnostic monitor circuitry on every key on cycle as part of the airbag system bulb check sequence. DTC B1924 is set when the RCM detects either an internal failure of the diagnostic monitor section itself (the part of the module that supervises squib resistance and crash sensor inputs) or when the system disarm function activates incorrectly.
