Code Information

The Restraint Control Module (RCM) continuously monitors the resistance of the passenger airbag squib (igniter) circuit to ensure the airbag will fire correctly when commanded in a crash event. DTC B1927 is set when the RCM detects a general fault on the passenger side airbag circuit, which can be an open, short to ground, short to voltage, or out of range resistance on the squib loop.
