Code Information

The Body Control Module (BCM) monitors the passenger door disarm switch, which is mounted in the passenger side door lock cylinder and provides a signal when the door is unlocked with the mechanical key. This signal is used by the vehicle anti theft system to disarm the alarm when the door is unlocked from outside without the keyless entry remote.
