Code Information

The Body Control Module (BCM) monitors the passenger door lock switch, which is the multi position switch on the passenger door trim panel that the occupant uses to lock or unlock the vehicle from inside. The switch provides input signals to the BCM via discrete wires for the lock and unlock positions, typically pulling the input to ground when pressed.
