Code Information

The Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor sends the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) a voltage proportional to intake manifold pressure, reading high near barometric pressure with the key on and dropping as manifold vacuum rises at idle. DTC P1107 sets when the PCM detects the MAP signal voltage dropping intermittently below a calibrated low threshold, typically below 0.1 to 0.2 volts for a brief period, which is implausible for normal engine operation.
