Code Information

This DTC sets when the Transmission Control Module (TCM) detects an abnormally high voltage on the 2 to 3 shift solenoid control circuit, typically indicating an open circuit or a short to battery voltage. The 2 to 3 shift solenoid manages hydraulic pressure during the shift from second to third gear. A high control circuit signal prevents the solenoid from being properly energised, which can cause delayed or failed shifts, incorrect shift timing, or the transmission defaulting to a fail safe gear.
