Code Information

The cylinder 5 fuel injector receives battery voltage from the fuel pump relay or an injector supply fuse, and the Engine Control Module grounds the circuit through an internal low side driver for the calculated injection pulse width. The module supervises the electrical state of that output continuously, and on direct injection engines it also monitors the boosted high voltage supply that opens the high pressure injector.
