Code Information

This fault code sets when the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detects that the fuel injection pump controller remains powered when it should be switched off. The controller is normally energised and de energised in step with engine operation and key state, so the PCM monitors that it actually turns off when commanded. If the PCM senses voltage or current still reaching the pump controller after it has commanded it off, it sets this code to protect against fuel system overrun and electrical damage.
