Code Information

The controller needs adequate and stable battery voltage to drive the injection pump and meter fuel correctly, so the PCM monitors the feed for a low condition. Low supply voltage is most often caused by high resistance in the power feed or ground rather than the pump itself. The driver may notice hard starting, low power, hesitation, stalling, or a no start, usually with a check engine light.
