The pressure regulator control solenoid valve is an electrically operated valve the Engine Control Module (ECM) uses to regulate fuel pressure, typically by controlling flow into or out of the high pressure fuel system. The ECM drives the solenoid with a switched or pulse width modulated signal and monitors the circuit for correct electrical behaviour.
