Code Information

This DTC sets when the Engine Control Module (ECM) does not receive a valid signal from the Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP) while the engine is running. The CKP sensor reports crankshaft speed and position, which the ECM uses as the primary reference for ignition timing and fuel injection. If the ECM loses the CKP signal while running or cannot synchronise it with the camshaft sensor, it logs this fault.
