Fuel gauge incorrect.

Owner complained about fuel gauge not reading correctly since the fuel pump assembly was replaced.

Vehicle showed up to workshop with a full tank.

Preliminary tests and inspection carried out.

Customer interrogated and asked as to why the fuel pump assembly was replaced, it turned out that the pickup had broken so his repairer replaced the assembly.

The customer had picked up the vehicle, went to fill it up and noticed that it did not read full when he started the vehicle and it took quite some time to become full while he was driving.

Took it to the repairer to get it checked, another unit was plugged in and they found the gauge would not read when sender was moved up or down so the customer sent this vehicle to us.
