Customer Complaint

Intermittently will not fire up again after turning off.

The problem occurred mainly when cold.

The vehicle had been bought from a dealership used car lot only two days prior.

Problem Summary

The dealership had replaced the fuel pump relay, followed by a second-hand crank, cam sensors and HT leads and finally even replaced the ECU with a second-hand unit.

On every occasion the vehicle would run for about 10 days and then not restart.

Importantly, the vehicle never cut out while moving, only when stopped and then it would not restart.

The vehicle was towed to the TaT workshop and it restarted off the tow truck.
