The vehicle intermittently goes into limp-home mode, with the glow plug light flashing under hard acceleration.

Under light driving conditions the vehicle performs normally, but during hard acceleration—particularly above 4,000 rpm—the glow plug light flashes, the vehicle loses power, and limp-home mode is activated. The fault code P0087 (Fuel Rail Pressure Low) is logged immediately under these conditions and returns after clearing.
