The vehicle intermittently would not start. The dash lights were sometimes out or flickering, Park would not engage when selected, and the engine sometimes would not switch off.

The fault had been occurring for about three weeks. A Launch scan found numerous communication faults across the vehicle. Clearing the codes did not resolve it; most returned when the symptoms occurred.
