Code Information

This chassis code relates to the anti lock braking system left front wheel speed sensor and the toothed tone ring, also called the reluctor or exciter ring, mounted at the left front hub. DTC C1141 sets when the ABS control module detects an irregular left front wheel speed signal consistent with a missing or damaged tooth on the tone ring, producing a momentary dropout once per ring revolution.
