Code Information

The dynamic stability control (DSC) system uses hydraulic solenoid valves inside the ABS modulator to apply and release brake pressure at individual wheels during stability, traction, and ABS interventions. The right front (RF) valve controls brake pressure to the right front wheel circuit. DTC C1957 sets when the module detects an electrical fault in the right front DSC valve solenoid circuit, such as an open, a short to ground, a short to voltage, or a solenoid resistance out of specification.
