Code Information

The Body Control Module (BCM) or wiper control module monitors the low speed driver circuit that supplies current to the wiper motor's low speed brush tap or PWM input. DTC B1473 sets when the module commands the wiper motor to run at low speed but does not see the expected current draw, motor feedback, or park signal response, indicating the low speed circuit is open, shorted, or the motor itself has failed in that operating mode.
