Code Information

The Body Control Module (BCM) drives the battery saver power relay coil through a low side driver, energising the relay to supply power to interior lights, courtesy lamps, and other accessory loads after the ignition is switched off. The BCM uses a timer to drop the relay after a programmed period (typically 10 to 30 minutes) to prevent battery drain.
