Code Information

The Body Control Module (BCM) drives the accessory delay relay coil and monitors the relay's contact output to confirm correct switching of the accessory feed (power windows, radio, sunroof, and similar loads that remain available for a short delay after the ignition is turned off). DTC B1475 sets when the BCM detects battery voltage on the relay contact output side at a time when the relay is commanded open, indicating either the contacts are stuck or welded closed, the output wire has shorted to a battery feed, or an unintended path is back feeding voltage onto the accessory line.
