The Memory Set Switch is a momentary push button typically located on the driver door panel that allows the operator to save and recall preset memory positions for the seat, mirrors, and on some platforms the steering column and pedals. The Body Control Module or dedicated Memory Seat Module monitors the switch input circuit and sets DTC B1530 when the switch signal wire is held at ground potential when the module expects it to sit at a pulled high reference voltage.
