The Body Control Module (BCM) monitors the Memory 2 Switch input circuit voltage as part of the driver memory seat and mirror system. DTC B1537 is set when the BCM detects battery voltage on the Memory 2 Switch signal line at a time when the switch is not pressed and the input should be at its rest state, indicating a short to battery somewhere in the circuit.
