When B1620 is stored, the module has detected an open (broken or disconnected) electrical path in the monitored circuit; and a signal or supply voltage lower than the expected operating range.

An open here means the GEM no longer sees electrical continuity from the motor park contact through the harness back to the GEM input. When this code is set, the rear wiper may fail to park, may continue to run past the park position, or may stop at random angles after the wiper request is removed.
